Black Diamond Group has again received its Supply Change Indigenous Procurement Champion accreditation from the
Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB), underscoring our continued commitment to our Indigenous partnerships that are structured with a proactive and long-term approach to engagement and shared positive economic benefit.
The Company has been involved with the CCIB since 2019 and first earned Procurement Champion status that year. Achieving this accreditation highlights our dedication to enhancing Indigenous representation in procurement, while fostering a deeper sense of mutual respect and collaboration.
“As a Company with operations in Canada and many established Indigenous partnerships, supporting diverse procurement is key,” said
Scott McLeod, Manager, Indigenous Relations. “Our membership with CCIB has played a crucial role in strengthening our Indigenous procurement efforts and reinforcing our commitment to shared economic benefit.”
Black Diamond Group is proud of its four equity-based Indigenous partnerships, two majority-owned First Nations businesses and several other partnership agreements with Indigenous communities across Canada. Through Black Diamond's Indigenous partnerships, the Company is able to meaningfully participate in economic development with our partners across their traditional territories, build lasting relationships with the community, and support impactful local initiatives.
