Community Investment - Black Diamond Group

Black Diamond is committed to maximizing value to our shareholders while pledging support to our local communities.

Building stronger communities

Black Diamond Group is building a tradition of community engagement and our community investment program is a reflection of our values. We focus on the communities where we work and live, with youth, leadership, and sport at the heart of our commitments.

For us, it's about being involved and making a real difference.

High School Partnership

A refurbished storage container was also donated to house the school’s maintenance equipment.
HEROES Program
Black Diamond Group has supported the HEROES program through Impact Society since December 2012. The HEROES program is run out of the Fort Nelson First Nation school and focuses on recognizing and fostering each student's own gifts and abilities rather than subscribing to a pre-set curriculum. We also sponsor an annual gala to recognize students who have successfully completed and excelled in the HEROES program.
Stars & Spurs
Black Diamond Group is a proud donor to the annual Stars & Spurs Gala, hosted by PSAC. The event supports STARS air ambulance, who transport some of the sickest and most critically injured patients to get the lifesaving medical attention they require.

Employee giving creates brighter futures.

In order to ensure we have the furthest reach possible into our communities, Black Diamond Group has built a charitable donation program that provides our employees the opportunity to contribute to their own communities on an individual level. Our charitable donation program encourages each salaried employee to direct $500 per year to a charity or community group with which they have a personal and meaningful connection.
Aiding Calgary Flood
In 2013, employee’s used the charitable donation program to donate rubber boots to aid flood recovery efforts that had devastated much of Calgary and High River, Alberta.
