We are excited to announce that Black Diamond Group has been honored with three Awards of Distinction at the Modular Building Institute’s 2018 World of Modular annual convention. And with more than 100 entries that represent over 26 countries, this truly is an honor.
First Place ‐ Marketing Piece (Web) LodgeLink is an online accommodation marketplace for remote workforce lodging and travel management. LodgeLink saves corporate travelers time, resources and costs by making it easy to find accommodation that best meets the needs of workers in remote areas. The website is the first of its kind, providing the largest database of remote lodging, currently representing over 20,000 rooms at over 100 remote properties across Canada. Customers can use LodgeLink to book their accommodation after assessing proximity, amenities, and price.
Honorable Mention ‐ Relocatable Education St Francis of Assisi Regional Catholic Primary School in Sydney, Australia is a functional network of six
classrooms, each room providing students with an open learning environment. This two story project
had a short installation timeline, completed in just 14 days.

The 242,640 square foot Sunset Prairie Lodge provides temporary remote workforce accommodation for
up to 1,250 people supporting the building of three new gas plants near Fort St.John, BC.
Building entries are judged on architectural excellence, technical innovation & sustainability, cost effectiveness, energy efficiency, and calendar days to complete. Marketing pieces are judged on stated objectives, creativity, methodology, and results.
