CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 15, 2010) - Black Diamond Group Limited ("Black Diamond" or "the Company") (TSX:BDI), a leading provider of modular accommodation and energy services in North America, is pleased to announce it has secured the construction and long-term rental contract for the first phase of an upscale remote workforce housing project located in north central British Columbia. Construction on this 220-bed project is slated to begin in late November, 2010 and the camp will be fully operational by January, 2011. The project, valued at $11 million, is located approximately 155 km northwest of Prince George, B.C. and is the first of three potential phases that will provide premier housing for a Canadian mineral development and exploration company in the area.
The capital expenditure for the first phase of this project falls within the Company's announced $40 million of capex for 2011.
