From Aug. 15-17, Black Diamond Group proudly sponsored the 13th annual
Rogers Charity Classic Golf tournament!
Black Diamond has been an official partner and preferred supplier of modular space for the event, formerly known as the Shaw Charity Classic, since the tournament’s inception 13 years ago. A pinnacle in summer spectator sports in Calgary and the only Canadian stop on the PGA Tour of Champions each year, the tournament is about far more than the birdies, bogeys and mulligans – at the root, it’s about charitable giving.
At Black Diamond Group, we have long believed that sport is a force for good, and we often align
our community-building efforts with initiatives rooted in youth, family and sport. Rogers Charity Classic, backed by six philanthropic business leaders, has raised more than $137 million for more than 290 charitable groups across Alberta, benefiting youth and children in need, aligning clearly with our community investment efforts.
"We are proud of this long-standing partnership with Rogers Charity Classic,” says
Trevor Haynes, Chairman & CEO of Black Diamond Group. “At Black Diamond, we believe sport is a force for good and this tournament brings that sentiment to life. It is a natural fit for our Company, and every year we look forward to supporting the event and making a positive impact in our community.”
This year, our team members were once again pleased to show our support as spectators, client hosts, and golfers in the RBC Championship Pro-Am.
As sponsors, Black Diamond Group provided BOXX Modular offices and units for tournament administration, operations, security and added storage capacity.
