Black Diamond Supports West Moberly Youth Initiative
March 18, 2019
Black Diamond and the West Moberly First Nations Snowboard Team have been hitting the slopes at Powder King Mountain Resort in British Columbia this winter.
Black Diamond would like to recognize and express extreme gratitude to Steve Swindlehurst, WFS Operations Superintendent in Grand Prairie, Alberta. Steve has been volunteering his personal time throughout the winter to provide training and teach skill development to the West Moberly First Nations youth, who were taking part in this community initiative to support healthy living.
The Company works closely with the West Moberly First Nations through the Black Diamond Cygnus Partnership. It is people like Steve who go above-and-beyond that truly allow the company's Indigenous Relations to thrive and succeed.
Black Diamond's Indigenous partnerships also include the Black Diamond Dene with the Fort Nelson First Nation, Black Diamond Nehiyawak with the Beaver Lake Cree Nation, and the Whitecap Black Diamond with the Whitecap Dakota First Nation.
