Black Diamond Announces Suncor Oilsands Accommodation Development

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) - Black Diamond Group Limited ("Black Diamond" or the "Company") (TSX:BDI), a leading provider of remote modular accommodation and energy services in North America, is pleased to announce the Company's Camps and Logistics Division has signed a custom sale contract with Suncor Energy to supply workforce accommodation at the Suncor McKay River Expansion Project north of Fort McMurray, AB.

This extensive project includes the sale, transportation, installation and operations of new dormitories and connecting arctic corridors which will tie into a pre-existing accommodation facility. Installation of the 37 modular unit (162-bed) project, plus piling installation and full-site services will commence in June, 2011. Project completion is slated for August, 2011.

There is no capital expenditure associated with this project as this is a custom-sale project for the customer.
